| What kind of brush works the best for the best price. I have found several on the internet, but htey are expensive. Also what type do you use on your face or should I even dry brush my face? |

| I get them at Whole Foods for @ $7-8. They should not be expensive. And, like Jennay, I like them stiffer. I also use a nubby shower glove that brushes the skin as I wash. |

Does anyone have anything to share about skin brushing during the cleanse if you are having rash/hives/redness/dryness detox symptoms? I have been trying to keep my sanity through this detoxing and it seems like a little light dry loofah-ing seems to be okay (every other day), though it is hard to tell with my skin so bad as it is. The layer of dry on top of all the rashes makes me even crazier. Sauna rounds seem to help (at least they give the "living, breathing" skin feeling) though the detox is really difficult to deal with everyday things like working (or wanting to put clothing on my ouchy skin).
The cleansing diet is not a problem for me, I have no real cravings that I can't get rid of just by pivoting my thoughts, and the fresh juice and other foods are delicious. But the detox is wild!
I find that most conversations I have these days find their way around to my detoxing issues. I have been seeing a hypnotherapist and I think it is helping me to relax and refocus. |

| I like brushing before my showers. It stimulates your lymph system and helps open up your pours. |

Make sure your dry brush is clean. I'm not sure what happened but I drybrushed near my jaw and neck area (I usually avoid these) along with the other usual places. Anyway, I have a terrible infection now on my chin and lower face area -- I look totally different! I'm going to throw that brush away and get a new one. Maybe it is because I'm travelling and there are some germs here that aren't at home. |
